User Feedback & Testimonials

PitchDetector.com values genuine feedback from people who use our tools, articles, and learning resources.

We do not publish invented testimonials, fabricated ratings, or unsupported claims about how many users recommend the site. When we feature feedback publicly, our goal is to make it clear that it came from a real user and to preserve the meaning of what that person actually said.

At this time, this page is focused on collecting and presenting verifiable user feedback responsibly.

How We Handle Testimonials

When someone sends us feedback, we may ask whether we have permission to feature part of their message publicly.

If a testimonial is published, we aim to:

  • use feedback from a genuine user experience;
  • preserve the original meaning of the message;
  • avoid rewriting a neutral comment into a stronger endorsement;
  • show only the name, role, or location the user has approved;
  • disclose relevant incentives or commercial relationships where applicable;
  • avoid presenting a single user’s experience as a guaranteed result for everyone.

We may make minor edits for spelling, length, or clarity, but those edits should not change the meaning of the original feedback.

What We Do Not Do

PitchDetector.com does not intentionally publish:

  • AI-generated testimonials presented as real users;
  • invented names or locations;
  • fabricated star ratings;
  • unsupported user-count claims;
  • fake professional titles;
  • testimonials attributed to people who did not use the site;
  • incentives that require someone to leave only positive feedback.

If we cannot verify a testimonial, we would rather leave it unpublished than use it as social proof.

Share Your Experience

If you have used PitchDetector.com, we welcome honest feedback—positive, negative, or mixed.

Useful feedback may include:

  • which tool you used;
  • what you were trying to accomplish;
  • what worked well;
  • what was confusing;
  • a technical problem you encountered;
  • a feature you would like improved;
  • an article or explanation that needs correction.

You can send feedback to: support@pitchdetector.com

You can also contact us through our Contact Us page.

Permission to Publish

Sending us feedback does not automatically mean that we will publish your name, identity, or message as a testimonial.

If we want to feature your feedback publicly, we may ask for permission and confirm how you would like to be identified.

For example, you may choose to appear as:

  • first name only;
  • first name and last initial;
  • role or musical background;
  • country or region.

Only information that is appropriate and approved should be displayed.

Privacy When Sending Feedback

Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.

You do not need to provide:

  • passwords;
  • payment-card information;
  • identification documents;
  • medical records;
  • unrelated private recordings.

Information you voluntarily send may be retained as reasonably necessary to review and respond to your message.

For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

Feedback About Specific Tools

If your comments relate to a particular PitchDetector.com tool, please include its name or URL.

For example, you might send feedback about:

  • the Online Pitch Detector;
  • microphone behavior;
  • audio-file analysis;
  • note or frequency results;
  • tuning feedback;
  • accessibility;
  • mobile usability.

Tool-specific context makes feedback more useful and helps us distinguish between a site issue, browser/device behavior, and normal pitch-detection limitations.

Reporting a Problem Instead of Leaving a Testimonial

If something appears broken or technically incorrect, you do not need to frame your message as a review.

For tool problems, include:

  • page URL;
  • device;
  • operating system;
  • browser;
  • what you expected;
  • what happened instead.

Our Pitch Detector Troubleshooting guide can also help with common microphone, unstable-reading, octave, and audio-file issues.

If you believe an article or technical explanation is inaccurate, please tell us what statement should be reviewed and include supporting information where possible.

Our broader correction and editorial process is explained in Authors & Editorial Standards.

Commercial or Incentivized Feedback

If feedback is connected to:

  • payment;
  • sponsorship;
  • affiliate activity;
  • free products or services;
  • another material relationship;

that relationship should be disclosed when relevant.

We do not want readers to mistake paid or affiliated commentary for independent user feedback.

Future Testimonials

As we receive feedback that can be verified and published with permission, genuine user testimonials may be added to this page.

A future testimonial may include:

  • the user’s approved quote;
  • display name or initial;
  • relevant role if verified;
  • tool used;
  • date received.

We will not add placeholder testimonials simply to make the page look more established.
